Background, focus areas, and working style for Taegan Williams.

I work across application security, business security, software, and automation with a focus on systems that need to be both technically sound and operationally realistic. My current strongest areas are secure software delivery, threat assessment, business process automation, and the engineering work required to turn security goals into repeatable practice.

At Corporate Tools, that means protecting on-premises and cloud infrastructure by working closely with developers and product teams, identifying risks early, and helping implement secure coding practices before problems become production issues.

My earlier background includes industrial control security research, cyber range development, and infrastructure-heavy work. That experience still shapes how I think, but the site now reflects where my work is heading: business-aware security engineering, AI-assisted automation, and systems that improve operational outcomes.

Areas I care most about:

  • Application security and secure coding practices
  • Business security and fraud reduction
  • AI and automation for business process improvement
  • Account protection and defensive workflow design
  • Technical communication that makes security work usable
